WELCOME…to our website, from the edge of the Fens, covering Ramsey and District and built to provide easy access to the information that covers all that we do.

If you would like to Learn, Laugh and Live then Ramsey and District U3A is the place for you. Come and take part in a wide variety of enjoyable interest groups with like-minded people, learn new skills and make new friends.

Groups are diverse and range from Bridge to Walking with many more besides. For the current list click on the Interest Groups tab above.

We hold open meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the Community centre, Stocking Fen Road, Ramsey starting at 2:00pm. We have a guest speaker and refreshments are provided. Visitors are always welcome.

There is a visitor’s fee of £2:00 for each visit to a General Meeting and you can come to a maximum of two general meetings before we ask you to decide whether you wish to join the Ramsey and District U3A. Members pay £1:00 per meeting.

NEW COMMITTEE

We are delighted to announce that Colin Hammond and Eleanor Hudson have been appointed to the Committee. 

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our outgoing Committee members – Lynda Lewis, Yvonne Graham, Jenny Macro & David Morris – for all their hard work

In view of the ongoing Covid – 19 crisis the new Committee are unable to meet at present so the allocation of roles is yet to be done. In the meantime the Chairman, Membership Secretary, Groups Co-ordinator, Business Secretary Newsletter Editor and Catering Officer will continue with their roles and cover those of the departing Committee members.

CORONAVIRUS – STRICT CURBS TO FIGHT VIRUS

Various interest groups have set up their own closed Facebook page. Let’s see how imaginative we can all be at staying in touch, especially with those living alone.  National Office have a U3A Staying in Touch Facebook page, which gives us interesting puzzles to do and fun things to make us smile.

We are vulnerable and I want us to come out of this safely so I ask you to be vigilant and stay safe.
