U3A LUNCH GROUP
The Lunch Group meets at various restaurants and pubs on the 4th Thursday of the month.
This is quite a large group although not all members go to every lunch. It can be difficult finding venues to cater for large numbers. Please contact Hazel McDowell if you would like to join the group.
We have enjoyed meals as far away as The Cutter Inn at Ely, The Dog in a Doublet at Thorney, The Pike & Eel, St. Ives and The White Hart, Godmanchester.
The prime aim is to have a good lunch but secondly – and no means least important – is the convivial company and the friends we love to see and catch up with.
All members must be prepared to take a turn to organise a lunch.
