The Gardening Group is for anyone interested in gardens and gardening, old hands or beginners with any size plot , including window boxes! Some people may not have a garden but enjoy visiting local gardens where we can walk, admire the trees and plants, and have a pleasant day out.
The Group meet up from March to October either at a members house or a local public garden, usually on the second Friday at 2.00pm until we run out of chat, (and tea and cake!) where we walk round , talk about the plants and planting. We discuss problems and solutions, and swap seeds , plants and knowledge -or lack of-, and ideas of where to go on days out . We are always looking for new members who love gardens and gardening, and dont mind getting their hands dirty!
